Phyllis Staines, co-author and Florida real estate Broker Associate, specializes in single family homes, townhomes, and condominiums in the Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and Beaches areas and is a top producing Realtor with RE/MAX Coastal Real Estate.

Phyllis is an expert in the Northeast Florida real estate industry and was named Realtor of the Year for 2004 by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. In addition, Phyllis is known locally as a real estate technology pioneer. She is the co-author of "Get the Best Deal When Selling Your Home" Northeast Florida edition that is on sale now in most major book stores.

Prior to joining RE/MAX, Phyllis spent over 15 years in the brokerage and system consulting divisions of E.F. Hutton, Merrill Lynch, and Barnett Bank. Originally from New Jersey, she relocated to Jacksonville with Merrill Lynch's corporate relocation in 1992. She brings the lessons learned from her own relocation into her business to ensure her clients have a smooth and seamless move.

Phyllis is a big believer in education. She earned her B.A. from Rutgers College in 1984 and earned her Masters degree with honors in 1996. In her free time, Phyllis volunteers as the Secretary and Trustee of The Donna Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women living with breast cancer in the Jacksonville area meet their most critical needs through emotional, social, and economic support. Phyllis lives in the Intracoastal West area of Jacksonville and is known as a the local expert in this area.
